We respect your privacy and never give, sell or rent names, addresses, email addresses, or any information about Cornerstone Counseling Foundation clients, supporters, or contacts to any business, organization or person.
All contact and information shared in counseling is considered confidential. The privilege of releasing information remains with the client, with the following three exceptions:
- When individuals are sent by their organization for evaluation and/or counseling, the limits of confidentiality will be discussed with both the individuals and the organization and mutually agreed upon before the assessment or counseling process begins
- When an individual appears to be potentially dangerous to self or others, the counselor is obliged to share this information with someone who can help to secure the safety of the individuals involved
- When children or elders are being and/or have been abused, the counselor is obliged to share this information with someone who can help to secure the safety of the individuals involved
